“One person. One record. One system. From prospect to alumnus.”
Every interaction a person has with the institution — an inquiry, an application, a fee, a grade, a graduation, a donation — belongs to the same record. That record doesn’t get re-created at each stage; it evolves.
A lead becomes an applicant, an applicant becomes a student, a student becomes an alumnus — same identity, same history, just richer over time. No silos, no re-keying, one place where the truth lives.
Everything else in Archway follows from that one architectural decision.
The lifecycle, one record
A single thread runs through every stage. The data doesn’t move; the person does.
Prospect
Before they apply, they're a person — and that record begins now.
- Web, WhatsApp, walk-in and event capture in one inbox
- Recruitment pipeline with automated nurturing
- Advisor workspace with timeline and notes
Modules: SRM · Communications Engine
Applicant
Same record. Now with an application, documents and a workflow.
- Configurable online applications per program (UG / PG / international)
- Document collection — incl. via WhatsApp
- Review → test → interview → decision workflow with audit trail
Modules: Admissions · Form Builder · Workflow Engine
Student
The same record evolves into an enrolled student — no re-keying.
- Programs, calendar, catalog, sections, registration, attendance, gradebook
- Multi-currency finance with rate cards by program × campus × cohort
- Faculty portal, advising, degree audit, academic standing
Modules: SIS Core · Student Finance · Faculty Portal
Graduating
The graduation pass is a finish line, not a new database.
- Degree-audit pass and graduation application
- Clearance checklist and ceremony management
- Certificate generation incl. Ministry of Higher Education certificate
Modules: Graduation · Examination · Communications
Alumnus
Same person. New chapter. Still one record.
- Profile and directory fed automatically the day they graduate
- Career tracking, events, mentorship and continuing education
- Communications and giving — without a separate alumni system to maintain
Modules: Alumni · Communications · Analytics
Ten modules. One system.
Every module ships as part of the same platform. No bolt-ons, no separate identities to reconcile, no third-party integrations between the pieces.

Universal in design. Battle-tested in the realities of Egyptian higher ed.
Archway is built around how universities in this region actually operate. The features below are core to the platform, not premium add-ons.
Multi-currency student finance
Rate cards per program × campus × cohort in EGP, EUR and USD. FX engine. Equivalent-payment handling. Per-currency online payment routing. Per-branch statements.
Arabic and English throughout
Right-to-left UI, Arabic name capture, Egyptian National-ID validation, Egyptian phone formatting, MoHE compliance fields. Built in, not bolted on.
WhatsApp as a first-class channel
Not just email. Public inquiry, document collection, reminders, broadcasts and campaigns — alongside SMS and email, in one communication log per person.
Ministry of Higher Education compliance
Capture and report the fields the regulator actually asks for. Generate MHE certificates. The reporting is the by-product, not the burden.
Block + self-service + bulk registration
First-semester block registration. Self-service from semester two. Bulk operations for the registrar. Controlled schedule swaps when flexibility is needed.
Multi-campus, multi-branch by design
Each campus with its own schedules, rate cards and statements — all in one system. Central strategy, decentralized operations.
Choices you can stand behind.
The technical decisions every university IT team will scrutinise — settled.
API-first
Every capability is a clean REST endpoint before it's a screen. Mobile-ready and integration-ready from day one.
Configuration, not code
Grading scales, fee structures, rate cards, program names, form fields, approval chains — configured by your administrators, not by a vendor ticket.
Audit everything
Who changed what, when and why. Non-negotiable for a university.
Cloud or on-premise
Docker-packaged. Runs in your cloud, our cloud, or your own data centre. Your data, your call.
Modern, maintainable stack
.NET Core + Next.js + a relational database. Strongly typed, long-term maintainable, no proprietary lock-ins.
Open data, open exits
Open API, webhooks, export/import layer. Connect to your LMS, your accounting system, your identity provider. Leave with your data if you ever choose to.
Frequently asked.
How is Archway priced?
Per-institution, scaled by active-student headcount and modules in use. Demos lead into a quote tailored to your operation. No public price list because no two universities operate the same way.
Can we deploy on-premise instead of cloud?
Yes. Archway ships Docker-packaged. Runs in our managed cloud, your cloud (any provider), or your own data centre. Your data residency choice.
How do you migrate from our existing system?
Migration is part of the engagement, not an afterthought. The migration toolkit handles people, programs, registrations, grades, finance and documents — with reconciliation tests proving nothing was lost in transit. Parallel-run and cut-over are scoped from day one.
What languages are supported?
Arabic and English throughout the UI, with right-to-left layout, Arabic name capture and Egyptian National-ID validation. Other languages on request.
Is there a mobile app?
Students get a responsive web app that works as a PWA on iOS and Android. Native apps are on the roadmap; the API-first architecture means they ride the same backend.
What integrations are supported?
Open REST API plus webhooks for everything. Built-in adapters for common LMS (Moodle), accounting/ERP, SSO (SAML/OIDC) and payment gateways. New integrations slot in cleanly because every capability is a documented endpoint.
How long until we're live?
Phased rollout, configurable to your operation. Typical cycle: discovery + data migration (4–8 weeks) → admissions + SIS core (8–12 weeks) → finance + remaining modules → cut-over. Each phase is usable on its own; you don't need a big-bang go-live.
Do you offer training?
Yes. Role-based onboarding for registrar, admissions, finance, faculty and IT teams, plus written and video documentation that lives with the product. Re-training when staff change roles is included.
